Greetings, friends! Today, I'm excited to share a personal journey that led me to make a bold change in my career, and now I'm eager to pay it forward to those seeking a transformative shift in 2024. It all started in the summer of 2016 when I stumbled upon a powerful and motivating dialogue by Steve Harvey on the Family Feud. Titled "To be successful you have to jump," it struck a chord that resonated deeply with me, and I encourage you to watch the inspirational video.
At that time, I was a successful environmental engineering consultant for two decades, but the daily grind left me yearning for something more fulfilling. Despite the challenges of leaving a profession I had dedicated half of my life to, I began watching Steve Harvey's video weekly, drawing inspiration and meticulously planning my exit from engineering consulting. It took three years of balancing dual roles – 40 hours as an engineering consultant and 40 hours as a realtor – to build my real estate business and muster the courage to take the leap.
The turning point arrived in 2018 when my real estate endeavors started to flourish, surpassing my engineering income. At the close of that transformative year, I embraced my passion for real estate, resigning from my engineering position on February 1st, 2019. Although the decision was daunting, venturing into a commission-based job with a young family, it utterly transformed my life. Today, I wake up inspired, achieving heights I couldn't have imagined just four years ago.
