Reno Aces Baseball - Various Dates
Baseball in Reno is back starting in April. The Reno Aces, Triple-A Affiliate of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks, will celebrate Opening Day on April 2nd as they kick off their first home game stand against the Sacramento Rivercats. The six-game series will run from Tuesday, April 2nd to Sunday, April 7th. The Reno Aces will also play at home against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys out of Texas. TEDxReno - Saturday, April 6th
Get ready to be inspired! TEDxReno is back with a lineup of thought-provoking speakers, innovative ideas, and engaging conversations. The event offers an enriching experience that will ignite your curiosity and leave you with a fresh perspective. Riverside Farmers Market - Every Sunday
From 9 a.m. to noon every Sunday enjoy the Riverside Farmers Market at Idlewild Park. The event features a large selection of local and organic farmers, ranchers, and talented artisans. Vendors can include stands offering fresh fruits and vegetables, free yoga, live music, home-crafted goods, and much more. More details are available on their website.
Reno Earth Day - Saturday, April 20th
Held at Idlewild Park in Reno, this year’s Earth Day event will be on April 20th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is an event for the entire family to learn about the environment and how to help reduce, reuse, and recycle. Earth Day in Reno is an eco-conscious event, from clean-up initiatives to educational workshops, reminding us of the importance of environmental stewardship. Reno Jazz Festival - April 25th-27th
The University of Nevada, Reno will host the 2024 Reno Jazz Festival featuring an incredible lineup of jazz artists and artist educators. Celebrating 62 years, the event will offer a deep and diverse educational and artistic experience for participants. The Reno Jazz Festival is devoted to educating and inspiring the next generation of jazz musicians with daytime clinics and performances, jam sessions, a showcase of student performances, and more. This year's Festival headliners include GEORGE, Terell Stafford with the UNR’s own Manzanita Quintet, and Jessika Smith. The event will have more than 20 concerts and workshops from leading jazz artists and educators, over 110 performances by student ensembles, two nights of jam sessions, and a closing student showcase.
